The staff were attentive. The breakfast was a highlight, with a delicious array of options, including fresh fruits and pastries. The pool area was clean and serene, perfect for relaxation.
Some areas need updating.

After an unfortunate mix-up when we arrived, we were eventually shown two nice rooms in the main hotel, both of which were pleasant. We chose the room overlooking the pool. Breakfast was a nice experience and we both enjoyed our morning meal. We spent a lot of time with local friends and family so did not take up the offer of lunch/dinner for 7euros extra. However, we appreciated the offer. We liked the bar area and found the barman (black) to be friendly and efficient. We thought the general layout and appearance of the common areas were attractive, and spotlesslessly clean.
We regard the Reception staff to be the most negative aspect of the Hotel. Our first experience in booking in was not a pleasant experience. The man was abrupt, unfriendly, and was completely lacking in 'people skills.' We noticed that the Reception staff generally were quite distant and unsmiling. They would look down when guests were near --(hoping not to have to talk to them possibly?) There was one exception: a younger female. You really must do something to improve communication here! Many of your guests are English, so I assume you want to keep their business. The unfriendliness and poor command of English is, commercially, a real weakness. We read many negative comments about your Reception staff on the internet. You need to read them. Sorry.

Thoroughly enjoyed Mojacar, the hotel was well-run and functional directly across the road from the sea. The property had a central position next to Resturants as well as good bars and restaurants. Had brunch in the Aurora Bar Restaurante, located nearby.

I booked our holiday for september and I booked only a basic accomodation but it wasn't busy when we got there, so the receptionist gave us an accom with terrace. We really appriciated that, and the seaview was amazing. We booked a half board option and we were happy with the food. Beautiful beach was just across the road, the road was noisy sometimes, so we couldn't keep open our windows for night.

The procimity to the beach was fantastic - literally a stones throw away. Air condition and a TV were a pleasent suprise.

The sea view from the balcony is a major highlight here, with a fine backdrop for relaxation. Plus, the room sizes are decent enough for comfort, especially with a clean washroom area.
The rooms could use some updating. They feel quite basic and sometimes cramped. The air conditioning leaves a bit to be desired, not quite keeping up with the heat. Charging for coffee, milk, and sugar in the minibar feels a bit excessive for what you get.

Easy to find central location. Stayed in the one-star section which had everything I needed for the stay. Reception staff were very helpful. Selection of restaurants and shops close by in addition to on-site facilities.

great location but average room
The proximity to the beach and local restaurants made exploring easy. I appreciated the daily towel service, keeping everything fresh. The staff were great, which really enhanced our stay. The sea view from the balcony offered a amazing sight that stood out during our mornings.
The room felt somewhat dated and could use a refresh.

I booked the Hostal by mistake, believing it to be the Hotel El Puntazo. However, the Hostal was exactly as it said, one star and definitely no more. We were offered a room in the Hotel but way too expensive and not as good as what we got elsewhere. The Hotel room we were offered was good and the bar area was good.
Unfortunately, none of the reviews mentioned the Hostal as they all seemed to deal only with the Hotel. We left after 2 nights because that was as quick as we could get out. The room we got had paint peeling off the ceiling and off the walls behind the bed, rust on the bath and everything totally dated. The entrance to the Hostal had carpet which was only fit to be binned.
